ASR was designed with a strict zero-telemetry architecture. We never collect, track, or transmit your behavioral data or app usage.
1. Local SQLite Room Storage
All focus session logs, blocked application packages, strict mode configurations, emergency exit records, and Discipline Scores reside exclusively in the local Room database (`aegis_focus.db`) on your physical device. If you uninstall the app or clear app data, that data is wiped completely.
2. Zero Third-Party Analytics & Trackers
ASR contains zero advertising SDKs, zero user tracking beacons, and zero telemetry analytics. We have no access to how long you focus, what apps you choose to block, or your daily habits.
3. Android Platform Permissions Usage
ASR requests legitimate Android operating system permissions solely for client-side enforcement:
- Usage Stats: Used locally on-device to calculate your daily screen time and aggregate distraction trends.
- Accessibility Service: Used solely to detect in real-time when a designated blocked app package enters the foreground during an active session and launch the mindful intervention overlay.
- Notification Shield (Pro): Used locally to dismiss incoming alerts from blocked distracting applications during active focus sessions.
